Friday 14 November

Welcome to digifest!

digifest is a celebration of all things digital at UCL. All events are free of charge, but only UCL staff and students and digifest partners may attend.

Registration is required for almost all events – please click on the links below to register.

Friday is showcase day

Visit the Marquee in the Quad to see examples of the things we’ve been making throughout the week. Come and hear the music from our laptop orchestra, play one of our DIY instruments, be a pigeon flying over London and have your picture taken by our talking photo booth. There are also a number of games to be played. No need to book, just turn up at the marquee from noon.

5-6.15pm: #bellogate discussion panel and closing comments from Professor Anthony Finkelstein
The closing session for digifest will be a panel discussion on bellogate, featuring Gavin McLachlan (Director of Technology Services, ISD), Bridget Kenyon (Head of Information Security, ISD), and digifest session leader Adit Trivedi who will give a student perspective. Anthony Finkelstein, Dean of the UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences will give some closing reflections on the digifest event.
This will be followed by a drinks reception for all attendees from 6.15pm.

If you have any mobility or other requirements to access any of these sessions, please contact us at ele@ucl.ac.uk
