This is a two-hour session about the technology in 3D people scanning

Participants will get a chance to 3D scan each other and also other objects using a hand-held kinect-style sensor.

About the session hosts

Mona Hess is a Research Assistant for the UCL Museums and Public Engagement Unit and a part-time PhD student at the Department for Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. She specializes in 3D colour imaging and replica for museum objects, which is used in her project with UCL’s Petrie Museum.
